Hello my dear friends!
Fruit is good for your body, but if some of this fruit is eaten together it will harm your health. Whether it is true or not, I decided to do some research about it. And let’s see if that’s the right myth, or not!
Although each fruit has its own nutritional value, it is not always when the fruit is eaten together. Many studies have shown that eating a group of these “enemy” fruits can cause discomfort in adults and life-threatening in children.
Fruits eaten together: A myth, a false statement, or a true statement?
I’m going to put them altogether with the right answer for it.
Banana with Pudding: FALSE
There is this statement, that eating a combination of these two will cause flatulence in adults and may put the risk of death in young children.
I certainly believe that it’s false! Over years, a lot of people have tried to make banana pudding for the family, from recipes for people with diabetes like Diabetic Living Online, to Mama’s recipe for kids
And no research has been shown to prove this right!
Lucky for those who want to enjoy banana pudding!
Orange with Carrots: MYTH
Boldsky pointed out one side of this combination in their article.
Although this combination is still popular in many places like fruit smoothies, fruit juices, but many of us do not understand, when consuming both these fruits at the same time, it can generate heartburn, reflux bile as well as damage to the kidney system.
If you have been facing digestive issues, this combination can make your problems worse.
However, some study from USDA even emphasized that eating dark orange with carrots significantly increased the amount of beta carotene. They were even willing to have further analysis on this combination to see that the high level of beta-carotene could lead to the increase in vitamin A.
Pineapple and Milk: MYTH!
Have you ever been told, “Don’t try pineapple together with milk, otherwise, it can turn to toxic and kill you!”
This combination is believed to increase the production of toxins in the body for adults, such as nausea, hot flashes, headaches, stomach pain and diarrhea, and even death in infants in severe cases.
The story began widespread when back in 2005-2008, several cases of food poisoning were reported after they ate banana and milk.
On the other hand
A study from a Bangladeshi researcher has proved this myth wrong!
The test on rats (sadly!) indicated that there was no significant biochemical change after consuming the mixture.
Papaya and Lemon: FALSE
You may already know that this combination causes anemia and slow growth in the baby.
But the truth is,
According to Boldsky, simply mix 3 tablespoons of papaya with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and you can create a healthy smoothie juice. This drink is especially effective when you drink every morning before eating breakfast.
Banana with Guava: TRUE
Chewing and eating bananas will cause discomfort, bloating, nausea, headache and stomach pain. It is the symptom of acidosis, a condition of consuming too much acid into our body.
Orange with Milk: FALSE
You may hear this too often when you drink orange juice and milk right after one another, it is difficult to digest, especially in children.
As a matter of fact,
Milk always curdles in your stomach, no matter what you drink it with.
Pomegranate with Apricot: FALSE
This is the big FALSE statement!
Some unknown stated that these two fruits when eaten together will cause some stomach problems. Sugar has a negative effect on the enzymes that digest the protein, and therefore, it slows down the digestive process.
But, but, but
A Wiley Online Library proved that pomegranate fruit with any stone fruit like apricot provide our body with a relevant source of antioxidants, fiber, and minerals. They decrease any cardiovascular risks, diseases and cancer.
One other study from NCBI also proved that this combination can help increase plasma and urinary anti-oxidative activities.

Carrot with Beetroot: FALSE
It started with an argument that carrots contain a lot of vitamin C-degrading enzymes, which are rich in vitamin C, which together destroys the nutrients.
The truth is,
One study from NCBI stated that the combination can help reduce blood leukocytes and lymphocytes.
To be simpler, it can help reduce uric acid.
To be even more simpler (simplest, I guess), the substance inside the 2 fruits do not cause any damage to our body, thankfully!
As you can see, the combinations of certain fruits can create a lot of myth whether it is bad or not to eat them together. However, I have proved that most of these myths are wrong! WRONG!
Now, you can be relieved in making juices or food for you and your family.
